If you missed it, the latest episode of Midnight Skull Sessions went up over the weekend. It’s free and easy to download through the iTunes store.
Books discussed this month include Reamde by Neal Stephenson, Geekomancy by Michael R. Underwood, Zoo “by James Patterson”, and I Am Not A Serial Killer by Dan Wells. And I rag a little bit incoherently on The Walking Dead (the comic series).
In other podcast news, I may or may not have made an appearance on episode nine of Harmontown. During the live comedy show hosted by Dan Harmon, creator of Community, I was pulled from the audience to give advice on podcasting Dungeons & Dragons games. I have yet to listen to the episode and find out if I made the podcast edit. Partially because I’d be bummed if I didn’t make the cut, but also because I was completely caught off guard by having two brilliant funny people giving me a mic in front of a live audience.
That’s up on iTunes as well. Harmontown’s always good for humor based on science fiction and television tropes, and it’s currently one of my favorite podcasts. So you’ll be getting something out of it whether you get to hear me be totally awkward in front of the guy responsible for Community’s awesome paintball episodes or not.
(Edit: A friend has informed me that I did make the Harmontown podcast and that it was “A fine performance.” Hooray!)
