Fun story: I was at a party a few weeks ago and ended up talking to a couple of people about the podcast. One guy asked, “So do you have to read a whole book?”
Here are the whole books we talked about this week:
Vulture Peak by John Burdett, The Rook by Daniel O’Malley, American Elsewhere by Robert Jackson Bennett, One Of Our Thursdays Is Missing and The Woman Who Died A Lot by Jasper Fforde, and Dreams and Shadows by C. Robert Cargill.
I was extra punchy the day we recorded, so we also talked about a lot of books that don’t exist, like the one where Dean Koontz and a dog solve mysteries. Perhaps they’re working against an evil dog who likes Oreos and cheats at Words With Friends? I call it… Her Velvety Softness – An Ogd Dog Novel.
Maybe I’ve read too many whole books.
P.S. For this podcast, I learned how to pronounce the word “sidhe” just for you, The Internet! You’re welcome, Internet. I love you.
